CR FAC are
filter air models from low efficiency up to the high efficiency
in holding particles. There are different types such as panel,
rigid filters of medium efficiency and HEPA filters (High
Efficiency in Particulate Air).
PANEL FILTERS
They are normally used as prefilters in air filtering systems
of low efficiency (25-50% ASHRAE) these filters are made with
a cardboard disposable frame or also metal frame which offers
more resistance. These filters are distinguished because of
its simple handling as well as for its simple way of being
installed.
RIGID FILTERS
They are used in air conditioning systems, manufacturating
areas and clean rooms with efficiency (65% to 95% ASHRAE).
They have a long life due to vbits maximum filtering area
as well as its pleats. Its rigid form allows air flow on both
sides.
HEPA FILTER TYPE
The HEPA tecnology was developed by the U.S. Atomic energy
comission, to remove radioactive particles from the air. These
filters are use in sterile areas, hospitals, pharmaceutical
industry, etc. Its efficiency goes from 99.97% a 0.3 micron
of hold capacity.
